The 4th
Degree Assemblies of the Diocese of Baton Rouge had the honor guard protocol
training session, installation of officers and an installation banquet on
Sunday July 18, 2004 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This is the first time four
Assemblies united at The Cathedral Church of Saint Joseph.
Twenty
eight Sir Knights participated in the protocol training session under the
direction of Jack O’Reilly, Supreme Director and State Ceremonials Chairman
and a honor guard at the Installations Mass.
The
Installation Mass was celebrated by Bishop Robert Muench, Bishop of the
Diocese of Baton Rouge, Rev. Jeff Bayhi, the Vocational Director and Worthy
Friar of the Diocese of Baton Rouge and Rev. Gerard Young, Rector of the
Cathedral.
The
Installation of Officers was conducted by Bishop Rober Muench, Vice Supreme
Master Bob Peters, Worth Master Fred Fluitt and numerous State Family
Members, who also attended the Installation Banquet. At the installation
banquet, Worth State Deputy Don Cubbage and other visiting dignitaries gave
speeches.
