62nd ANNUAL STATE SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT

Attached are the rules and entry blanks for the 62ndAnnual State KC Softball Tournament. The entry blank is for Your Council's entry into the State Tournament. Please note that this year, councils enter directly into the state tournament. Simply complete the entry form and submit with entry fee and you will be able to compete in the state tournament, provided you meet the August 6th deadline.

These rules apply to the State Tournament only. State Tournament play is under USSSA rules. Tournament play will be in Regular Division, Veteran Division, and the MIXED DIVISION of play. To compete in Veteran Division Play, a member MUST be 35 years old or older as of July 1,2010. Such a 35-year-old or older KC may or may not play in Veteran Division play, however if he chooses to play Veterans play, he will be limited to that one division. Brother knights may only play in one division of play.

Once again, any team wishing to participate in State, only need complete the enclosed roster and submit with entry fee made payable to PELICAN PARK and mail to MYLES MILLER, TOURNAMENT CHAIRMAN. Deadline for receipt of ALL entries is August 6, 2010, 5:00 p.m. NO EXCEPTIONS! Regular Division, Veteran Division and Mixed Division play will be double elimination tournaments. Brackets will be posted at www.louisianakc.org and www.usssa.com on Thursday, August 12, 3pm. Brackets will NOT be mailed in advance.
