Born in New Orleans, Louisiana
September 19,1959. She is the third child of Lorraine B. Serpas
and the late Edwin A. Serpas Sr. Tammy started her KC career at
Council #2952, John F. Kennedy in Hammond where her father was a
Past Grand Knight and Former District Deputy, and a Past Faithful
Navigator. |

There she held many elected offices and was the President
for 3 years besides various chairmanships. Here she also had perfect
attendance for 12 years and was the auxiliaries "Lady of the Year".
She started on the state level in 1993 as a Liaison officer, and
has held every elected office up to the present office she holds,
which is State Treasurer of the Kaycee Council of Auxiliaries of
Louisiana, Inc. In 1997 she married Russell Ruh, a Past Grand Knight,
and has 2 stepchildren, Jonathan 17 and Stephanie 14. In 1997 she
transferred to Saint Louis King of France Auxiliary that belongs
to Council #9016 in Baton Rouge where she now resides. She has held
the offices of Parliamentarian, Pro-Life chairman , and Vice
President for her auxiliary.
She is presently Pro-Life chairperson.
