Grand Knight’s Column
The
most important NOTE!!!! Our regular business meeting in May will be
on Wednesday May 7th. I know it has been very confusing
the past couple of months, but sometimes it can’t be helped, and I
am sorry for these date changes.
It is
time for nominating Knights who are interested in becoming an
officer for the up coming year
requirements are that you be a Third Degree member for a year and in
good standings. If you would like to serve as an officer this coming
year please get in touch with the nominating committee Don Belanger,
Willis Broussard, and Robert Templet Sr.
I would
like to thank Robert Templet Sr. and the Knights who help make the
Membership Blitz a huge success. We have signed up seven fine
gentlemen who want to join the Knights of Columbus. We also had two
gentlemen readmit themselves back in the Knights of Columbus, and
one transfer. This truly a reflection of the many good deeds you do
as Knights to help others in need, and how many other men see, and
want to be a part of our many services that we do for the greater
glory of God.
We have a
few dates to remember before our next meeting: The Teacher
Appreciation Dinner will be April 30th at St. Marks 6:30
p.m. I would like to see all Brother Knights and wives come out to
pay special tribute to our educators. These men and women are
helping to shape the future of America by educating our children for
the future, and the children are our future.
May 1st.
